Strawberry-Green Peas Salad || Chaitime

Time has come for yet another green pea recipe! This one’s bizarre; atleast that’s what I initially thought. I honestly didn’t think that I’d like this recipe but I was in for a pleasant surprise.

Today’s recipe is another mind-blowing summer salad – very colorful and lively! It combines the tanginess of fresh strawberries and the nutritious starchiness of fresh green peas, to give you the ultimate powerhouse of a salad.  No no, don’t judge it yet – like I said, it’s a pleasant surprise that your palate will totally love! 😀

This salad is actually super-simple to make. All you need are fresh strawberries, fresh green peas, and a salad dressing of your choice. I’ve used 1000 Islands and Light Ranch dressings for this recipe. You may add crumbled goat cheese too, to make it more bone-friendly.  Goat cheese is easier on the digestive system compared to other types of cheeses, and has fewer calories – but you won’t be deprived from enjoying a rich and creamy flavor.  🙂

Enjoy this really fresh combination on a hot summer’s day, and feel good about yourself! 😉
